My personal philosophy is that if I can’t afford both food and tip, I stay at home.
Still, I can’t be too mad at someone who draws something that creative…it’s actually pretty cool.
my 6 and 8 year old kids already know how I make my money. However, if my kids just say “I Love You Uncle Patric” then that could be all I need.
Do not promote the idea that art drawn by a 10 y.o. is ever acceptable.
My tip percentage is always above 20%. I’m not encouraging everyone to draw pictures instead of a monetary tip. However, I have received some wonderful gifts from guests over the years…instead of cash. Some of them I really treasure. If this sort of thing is a rarity…I think it’s just fine.
